Next, you’ll need credentials to connect your WordPress site with Google. Go to API & Services → Credentials and click Create Credentials → Service Account. Give it a name like “Instant Indexing Bot” and finish the setup. Once done, open your Service Account, go to the Keys section, click Add Key → Create New Key, and select JSON. A file will be downloaded this JSON file contains your private key, which we’ll use in the next steps.
Step 3: Add the Service Account Email to Google Search Console
Now, open your JSON file using any text editor and find the line that says “client_email”. Copy that email address. Then, go to your Google Search Console and open the property (domain) you want to index instantly. Click on Settings → Users and Permissions → Add User and paste the email. Make sure to give it Full access. This allows your API connection to communicate securely with Google.
Step 4: Install the Instant Indexing for Google Plugin
To make everything easier, install the free Instant Indexing for Google plugin developed by Rank Math. You can find it on the WordPress plugin repository. Once activated, go to the plugin settings inside your dashboard. You’ll find an option to upload your JSON key just upload the file you downloaded earlier. Then choose which post types (Posts, Pages, etc.) should be indexed instantly whenever published or updated.
Step 5: Test the Connection
After saving your settings, test the connection by publishing a new post and checking if it’s indexed within a few minutes. You can verify this by searching site:yourdomain.com/post-url on Google. If everything’s done correctly, your page should appear almost instantly.
